A RIN is a unique 9-digit number identifying a business requesting registration of vehicles and/or plates with the Ministry. To be eligible to receive a company RIN an organization must be either an Indian Band or incorporated. To get a RIN, change the name or address of a business with an existing RIN, or merge two RINs, an organization must provide original identification documents, complete this form and provide two (2) proof of address documents at a ServiceOntario Centre.
The Annual or Semi-Annual Inspection Declaration is used for
1) Pick-up trucks and trailers with a registered gross weight over 4,500 kilograms and used for personal use only, or
2) The required annual or semi-annual inspection was completed by a Motor Vehicle Inspection Station (MVIS).
This form acts as either a new application for prospective provincially regulated shortline railway companies and/or as an update form for licensees to notify the Ministry of notable operational changes.
