Applicants for a mill licence will need to provide: • An indication as to whether the licence will be for the construction/operation of a new mill or the renewal of an existing licence. • Duration of the licence sought. • For the construction/operation of a new mill, applicants will be required to submit a business plan to the ministry; where an existing licence is being renewed, applicants may be required to submit a business plan or business plan amendment to the ministry where any changes are planned in the operation of the mill during the duration of the licence sought. Business plan requirements are not dealt with as part of the formal mill licence application requirements. • Business name and business contact details. • Physical location of the mill. • Purpose(s) of the application. • Productive capacity of the mill. • Proposed operating level of the mill. • Mill type/category selected by applicant based on mill characteristics. • Annual licence fees, which range from $10.00 to $100.00 depending on the mill type/category selected by the applicant, multiplied by the duration (in years) of the licence sought. • Attestations and Acknowledgements.
