Requirement under section 16 of the Education Act for private schools to submit a notice of intention to operate annually to the Ministry of Education by September 1. Submission of the form triggers registration for all private schools and inspection for those wishing to grant credits towards the Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

It is illegal to have a loaded firearm in or on, or discharge a firearm from, an aircraft, vehicle (including snowmobile and all-terrain vehicle) or motorboat. Under the Crown Forest Sustainability Act, 1994 and Ontario Regulation 167/95, you need a Forest Resource Processing Facility (mill) Licence if you want to construct and/or operate a mill and your mill consumes more than 1,000 cubic metres of forest resources in one year (regardless of the source). If you have a mill licence, you will need to get a new one where your existing licence is expiring/has expired or your mill: a) changes ownership, and/or b) changes productive capacity, and/or c) is converted to another mill type.

A RIN is a unique 9-digit number identifying a business requesting registration of vehicles and/or plates with the Ministry. To be eligible to receive a company RIN an organization must be either an Indian Band or incorporated. To get a RIN, change the name or address of a business with an existing RIN, or merge two RINs, an organization must provide original identification documents, complete this form and provide two (2) proof of address documents at a ServiceOntario Centre.

Pursuant to section 187 of the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021, the Director may directly or indirectly collect the information provided in this application to determine the reduced amount payable by the resident for basic accommodation in accordance with section 303 of O. Reg. 246/22 made under the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021. Pursuant to subsection 303(4) of O. Reg. 246/22, the licensee is required to submit this application and retain a copy.

Senior Active Living Centre (SALC) programs promote wellness, social interaction, and education to help seniors stay active, independent, and engaged. Ontario will be expanding the SALC Program in 2023-24 and inviting organizations to submit proposals to launch a new SALC program, in a municipality that does not already have an existing SALC program and has a demonstrated need. The James Bartleman Indigenous Youth Creative Writing Award commemorates the legacy of Ontario’s 27th Lieutenant Governor by recognizing up to six Indigenous students for their creative writing talent. Each recipient receives a $2,500 award.

The Hilary M. Weston Scholarship commemorates the legacy of Ontario’s 26th Lieutenant Governor and is awarded to two graduate-level social work students who specialize in the area of mental health. Successful applicants each receive a one-time award of $7,500.
