A registration is needed if you wish to operate a research, teaching, or testing facility in Ontario. This is required if your premises uses animals in research, teaching or testing and your premises are used for collecting, assembling, or maintaining of animals in connection with a research facility under R.S.O. 1990, c. A.22, s. 4. Please complete this application for registration of a research/teaching/testing facility in full, as per section 4 of the Animals for Research Act.
The Director appointed under the Animals for Research Act will approve applications for registrations in accordance with the requirements of the Act.
A registration expires on the 31st day of December of the year in which registration is made. Registration must be renewed annually. If an application includes more than one research, teaching or testing facility, details must be provided for each facility in the application, and payment of fees are required.

In accordance with section 42 of the Drainage Act, an owner of land affected by the proposed drainage works is requested to attend a council meeting to consider the final report filed with the City, County, Municipality, Town, Township or Village.

A licence is required to sell livestock medicines to owners of livestock or to another person acting on the owner's behalf, for the treatment of the owner's livestock under the Animal Health Act, 2009 and the Licences to Sell Livestock Medicines Regulation.
When a tile drainage machine changes ownership, the Regulations under the Agricultural Tile Drainage Installation Act requires that a notice of transfer of a machine must be completed and submitted within ten days after the transfer occurs. Where the machine is already licensed, this licence will be transferred to the new owner.

A licence is required to carry out the community sales of consigned livestock in Ontario. This applies to an operator licensed for Class 1 or Class 2 community sales to hold an extra community sale not authorized by the licence for Class 1 or Class 2 community sales.
