Description | In general, you can keep a dead wild animal or bird you have found or been given. In some cases, you need to register that you have a dead wild animal in order to keep it. Registering for a Notice of Possession allows you to keep the dead wild animal for personal use. You must keep the confirmation of registration you receive for as long as the animal is in your possession. Submission Requirements: This form is to be used to register: Possession of a carcass or part of a carcass for certain wildlife species regulated under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997. Before registering, please confirm if your species requires you to submit a Notice of Possession form. For a list of eligible species please visit: https://www.ontario.ca/page/keep-dead-wild-animal. |
