This form is intended to standardize the way in which applicants of wind facilities request copies of site plan approvals (issued under section 41 of the Planning Act) and building permits (issued under s. 8 of the Building Code Act, 1992) from municipalities when they are planning their projects.
This form is used by proponents to promptly notify the Minister in the prescribed form and manner if a change that could reasonably be expected to have a material effect on the adequacy of the proponent’s filed closure plan is planned, has occurred, or is likely to occur under subsection 144(2) of the Mining Act.
Proponents of electricity projects must complete the Statement of Completion form once they have satisfied the requirements of the Screening Stage or the Environmental Review Stage of the process, and no requests for the project to be elevated to an individual environmental assessment have been received.
