Application for a Wildlife Scientific Collectors AuthorizationGenerally, wildlife cannot be kept in captivity in Ontario. There are some exceptions provided through authorization for persons who engage in approved activities. Persons may apply for a Wildlife Scientific Collector’s Authorization to capture, kill, temporarily possess, and/or release wildlife for educational or scientific purposes. This is the application form for a Wildlife Scientific Collector’s Authorization. Applicants must submit this completed application form as well as any required supporting materials.
