A well licence issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) is required to drill, operate, deepen, alter or enter a well, or engage in any activity on or in a well. A complete Application for a Well Licence form must be submitted for review by the ministry, and the Minister may grant a licence.

Applicants interested in applying for the 2025-26 Community Emergency Preparedness Grant (CEPG) need to review the Application Guidelines. A RIN is a unique 9-digit number identifying a business requesting registration of vehicles and/or plates with the Ministry. To be eligible to receive a company RIN an organization must be either an Indian Band or incorporated.
