Under the Farm Implements Act, 1990, registration as a distributor is required for any person, including a manufacturer, who, in the ordinary course of business, sells, consigns or delivers farm implements or parts to a dealer. Any person that meets the definition of both dealer and distributor should register as a distributor/dealer.

This form is an application for a licence to operate a provincial meat plant under the Food Safety and Quality Act, 2001 and O. Reg. 31/05. It is used to apply for a new licence or to revise information on an existing licence.
A License is needed if you wish to operate a supply facility. Supply facility means premises that are used for breeding and rearing of animals to be used in research, teaching or testing. Please complete this application for a license to operate a supply facility under the Animals for Research Act. A license expires on the 31st day of December of the year of issue. Licenses must be renewed annually. A separate application and payment of fees is required for each supply.
No person shall make an alteration with respect to a meat plant unless the operator of the plant has given written notice of the proposed alteration to a director at least 30 days before making the alteration.
An application is required to make changes to the species of milk used, type of plant, milk class or subclass at a licenced dairy plant receiving cow milk. Details of these changes are provided in Regulation 761, s.96(2) under the Milk Act (Ontario).
If these changes require alterations or modifications to a plant you must also submit an “Application for a Permit to Construct or Alter a Building Intended for use as a Dairy Plant - For Existing Applicants”.

To obtain a new business licence, the Regulations under the Agricultural Tile Drainage Installation Act indicate that all businesses must employ a least one Class “A” operator and have access to one licensed machines. To issue a new business licence, an inspection of your operation will be necessary. All business licences are issued for a one-year term expiring March 31; the fee for this licence is $250.00.
