This procedural guidance document is intended for those proponents with renewable energy projects proposed in whole or in part on provincial Crown land who have received a Feed-In Tariff (FIT) 5 energy procurement contract offer by the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO).

The Objection Form is a requirement in section 0.5(9) of O. Reg. 244/97, under the Aggregate Resources Act, to serve as a record of outstanding objections with respect to an application for an Aggregate licence, after the applicant has attempted to address all comments during the consultation period.

This form is to be completed by any licence or permit holder filing an amendment to a site plan under sections 13(3.2) or 37.2(5) of the Act and section 7.2 of Ontario Regulation 244/97 under the Aggregate Resource Act (i.e., “self-filing”).

The Aggregate Resources Act (ARA) provides for the transfer of a licence or permit. A transferred licence or permit will allow the continued operation of the licensed or permitted site under the same terms, conditions and site plan requirements as the original licence or permit. Any changes or amendments to the site plan or licence/permit conditions are a separate process.

This form allows individuals or incorporated organizations the ability to apply to purchase (sale and Crown patent), or rent, or use Crown land in the form of the following occupational authority types: lease, easement, licence, or land use permit. The occupational authority is a legal agreement between the ministry and tenant, and outlines who can use the land and for how long, the rents and fees and any associated conditions. The ministry’s primary focus for the disposition of Crown land is to: support the social and economic development of municipalities and Indigenous communities, and to provide land for infrastructure, such as energy facilities, utilities, and services. It is illegal to have a loaded firearm in or on, or discharge a firearm from, an aircraft, vehicle (including snowmobile and all-terrain vehicle) or motorboat. This form(s) is the application to request an authorization from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, to having a loaded firearm in a vehicle or motorboat if a person suffers from a severe disability that prevents them from hunting except while using a wheelchair or similar means of locomotion including vehicles and motorboats; and is unable to safely dismount the stationary vehicle (including a wheelchair) or motorboat to discharge a firearm. This licence is required for individuals to keep, propagate, buy and sell game birds in captivity for the purposes of supporting hunting (e.g., game bird hunting preserves, train and trial, municipal programs) or for personal consumption. Game birds kept under this licence cannot be released without additional authorization. Applicants must submit a complete licence application indicating which species of game birds they are seeking authorization to keep before acquiring any birds.

Game Bird Hunting Preserves (GBHP) are areas in which pen-raised game birds are released into habitat to support additional game bird hunting, bird-dog training and field trial opportunities in Ontario within a predefined area. This licence is required to own and operate a GBHP, including keeping and releasing the authorized species of game birds on the preserve. Applicants must submit a complete licence application with all required supplemental information.

The MNRF Volunteer Agreement outlines the responsibilities of the volunteer and ministry, and the terms and conditions of the assignment. Agreement must be signed by volunteer and/or parent or guardian (if applicable) and the ministry Supervisor at the start of each volunteer assignment.

This form is required for all escapes or unauthorized releases of cervids (members of the deer family, both native and non-native). The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act (FWCA) requires cervid owners (person who is keeping the cervids in captivity) to: (1) promptly notify the Ministry of all escapes and unauthorized releases, (2) address the escape/release in coordination with the Ministry, and (3) complete and submit this form (FW4020) If the owner cannot submit the form promptly, they should provide the required details to their Ministry work centre via telephone, or as directed by the work centre.

A foster caregiver is a person who acts as an agent under a wildlife custodian authorization by providing supplemental care of wildlife on the foster caregiver’s own premises. A wildlife custodian shall submit to the District Supervisor a completed Foster Care Agreement form for each foster caregiver within 48 hours of the foster caregiver first receiving game wildlife or specially protected wildlife for care and treatment.

Section 26 of the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997 (FWCA) prohibits a person from using a dog to chase live game mammals or game birds during the closed hunting season for the purpose of teaching the dog hunting skills (training) or testing the dog’s hunting skills (field trial) unless the person has the authorization of the Minister. This application can be used to apply for an Authorization to Conduct Field Trials and Training which may be issued to authorize these activities during certain discrete periods of time outside of the hunting season for the game species being chased.
