Mechanism to transfer a commercial bait licence from one licence holder to another.

This is the Application for a Commercial Falconry Licence. It must be completed and submitted to the local ministry work centre, along with any other required information, to apply for a Commercial Falconry Licence. More information about falconry can be found at Ontario.ca/falconry.

The Public Notice of Application Form in subsection 0.4(1) of O. Reg. 244/97, under the Aggregate Resources Act, is for an applicant of an aggregate permit or licence to notify landowners within 120m of a proposed pit or quarry, to post the notice in a newspaper and to post on a sign at the proposed site (licence only).

Applicants applying for a secondary trapping licence for youth must submit a completed Letter of Consent – Secondary Trapping Licence (Youth) for a new licence or renewal. This form collects signed parental/guardian consent and signed mentor trapper consent and mentor trapper licence number.

Application for an Aggregate Licence, Aggregate Permit or Wayside Permit under the Aggregate Resources Act

This licence is required for individuals to keep, propagate, buy and sell game birds in captivity for the purposes of supporting hunting (e.g., game bird hunting preserves, train and trial, municipal programs) or for personal consumption. Game birds kept under this licence cannot be released without additional authorization. Applicants must submit a complete licence application indicating which species of game birds they are seeking authorization to keep before acquiring any birds.

This licence allows an individual or corporation to own and operate a Train and Trial Area. Part A of this form contains the application for the licence and Part B contains the required annual report. Those who wish to apply for this licence must have previously been issued a Licence to Own and Operate a Train and Trial Area, applications for new areas will not be accepted. Applicants must submit Part A and Part B of this form, as well as a copy of their site map.

The Objection Form is a requirement in section 0.5(9) of O. Reg. 244/97, under the Aggregate Resources Act, to serve as a record of outstanding objections with respect to an application for an Aggregate licence, after the applicant has attempted to address all comments during the consultation period.

A well licence issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) is required to drill, operate, deepen, alter or enter a well, or engage in any activity on or in a well. A complete Application for a Well Licence form must be submitted for review by the ministry, and the Minister may grant a licence. Game Bird Hunting Preserves (GBHP) are areas in which pen-raised game birds are released into habitat to support additional game bird hunting, bird-dog training and field trial opportunities in Ontario within a predefined area. This licence is required to own and operate a GBHP, including keeping and releasing the authorized species of game birds on the preserve. Applicants must submit a complete licence application with all required supplemental information.

This form is to be completed by any licence or permit holder applying to the ministry to make a change to their licence, permit, or site plan under sections 13, 13.1, 13.2, 30.1, or 37.2 of the Act. When notification is required, this form must be circulated with the amendment application package. Detailed submission information can be found on the form, depending on the nature of the amendment. Individuals interested in applying for an Apprentice Falconry Licence must arrange to be sponsored by a holder of a General Falconry Licence or Commercial Falconry Licence who has a least five years’ experience as a trainer, hunter, keeper and handler with raptors. The “Certification of Sponsorship” portion of this form must be completed by the applicant’s sponsor and submitted to the MNR as part of the application for an Apprentice Falconry Licence. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, the “Certificate of Apprenticeship” portion of this form can be completed by the Apprentice Falconry Licence holder’s sponsor. The submission of a completed Falconry Sponsor and Certification form to the MNR demonstrates the Apprentice Falconry Licence holder’s completion of the apprenticeship described in section 14 of O.Reg. 668/98: Wildlife in Captivity.

This form allows individuals or incorporated organizations the ability to apply to purchase (sale and Crown patent), or rent, or use Crown land in the form of the following occupational authority types: lease, easement, licence, or land use permit. The occupational authority is a legal agreement between the ministry and tenant, and outlines who can use the land and for how long, the rents and fees and any associated conditions. The ministry’s primary focus for the disposition of Crown land is to: support the social and economic development of municipalities and Indigenous communities, and to provide land for infrastructure, such as energy facilities, utilities, and services.
