The Lincoln M. Alexander Award commemorates the legacy of Ontario’s 24th Lieutenant Governor by recognizing three young people who have shown strong leadership in eliminating racial discrimination. Two recipients in the Student category and one recipient in the Community category will each receive a $5,000 cash award.

This medal recognizes police officers for individual acts of outstanding courage. Nominations must be made through the nominee’s Police Service and endorsed by their Chief of Police or the Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) for police officers working in the OPP.

This medal recognizes firefighters for individual acts of outstanding courage. Nominations must be made through the nominee’s Fire Service and endorsed by their Fire Chief.
