REFRAINING ORDER

  1. THIS COURT FINDS THAT one of the following circumstances applies, as indicated:






  2. THIS COURT ORDERS THAT the Director of the Family Responsibility Office refrain from directing the Registrar of Motor Vehicles to suspend the driver's

  4. THIS ORDER TERMINATES as follows:

    1. it terminates automatically 20 days after the date it is made if the applicant (payor) or his or her lawyer undertook to obtain, within 20 days after the date this order is made, a court date for a motion to change the support order and failed to do so;

    2. if this order does not terminate under subparagraph i, it terminates on the earliest of the following:
      1. the day it is terminated under subsection 35 (9) of the Act,

      2. the day the motion to change the support order or the appeal of the support order is determined,

      3. the day the support order is withdrawn from the Director's office,

      4. the day that is six months after the date of this order.

  1. The payment terms of this order do not change the payment terms of the support order. Arrears may continue to accrue under the support order and other enforcement actions may be taken by the Director unless the support order is changed.

  2. If you do not comply with the terms of this order, the Director of the Family Responsibility Office may issue a final notice to suspend your driver's licence.

  3. This order may be extended, on motion to the court that made this order, for one further three or six month period, depending on the facts. A copy of the motion must be served on the Director. The motion to extend this order must be heard by the court before this order expires.
