As a police officer in the province of Ontario appointed pursuant to the Interprovincial Policing Act, 2009, you must comply with the Interprovincial Policing Act, 2009, the Police Services Act, and the following regulations under the Police Services Act:

Pursuant to the Equipment and Use of Force Regulation you may not use force on another person unless you have successfully completed a training course on the use of force.
Pursuant to the Equipment and Use of Force Regulation you may not carry a firearm unless you have successfully completed a training
course on the use of firearms in the previous twelve months.

You may not engage in a suspect apprehension pursuit described in section 1 of the Suspect Apprehension Pursuits Regulation unless you have: i) completed the training in motor vehicle pursuits; and ii) the ability to notify a dispatcher for the police service having jurisdiction in the area where the pursuit takes place when you initiate the pursuit.
You may not exercise the authority of a police officer or a provincial offences officer to enforce provincial legislation unless you have received training with respect of those laws.
